Knock on mystery doors and get ready for fun and surprises at every turn! Enter through the gates of the “Lost City” and explore the jungle passages of this exotic wildlife rescue center. See what`s brewing in the witch`s cauldron! Hoedown in the ghost town! Steal pirate`s booty on our treasure island! With slithering snakes, spooky tarantulas, and scary alligators it`s a Halloween haunt to die for...if you dare!!! The event is for all ages. October 29-30, 1 p.m. -7 p.m. at the STAR ECO Station, 10101 Jefferson Blvd in Culver City. Call 310 842 8060, or visit www.starinc.org and www.ecostation.org for more information. STAR ECO Station is a non-profit 18,000 sq-ft environmental education museum and wildlife rescue center, designed to feel like a backpacking adventure trek through the tropical rainforest. Through a partnership with U.S. Fish and Wildlife, STAR ECO Station rescues "at-risk" and endangered exotic wildlife. Visitors study ecology and environmentalism on a breathtaking encounter with tropical birds, exotic reptiles, wildcats, ocean life and 15 educational displays, including the Santa Monica BayKeeper`s walk-thru Kelp Forest display. With a mission of Preservation Through Education, STAR ECO Station is dedicated to creating a new generation of environmentalists committed to protecting the Earth`s resources.
